Florine Stettheimer (August 29, 1871 - May 11, 1944) was an American artist who painted in oils and worked with diverse media and was an author. Her paintings have been described as having been created by an “Deco-influenced early Modernist who’s never really gotten her due”.[1] A book of Stettheimer’s poetry, entitled, Crystal Flowers, was published posthumously by her sister, Ettie Stettheimer.
